Christmas opening times

Merry Christmas everybody,

The Kung Fu Schools will be open right up until Tuesday 20th of December (classes on the 20th)

and we will be re-opening on Wednesday 4th January (classes on the 4th).

we will be making a few changes to the Kung Fu School over the Christmas holiday so see if you can spot them when you come back in the New Year so keep your eyes peeled.

We will be offering private lessons over Christmas so if you would like to grab some extra Kung Fu simply enquire with your instructor, ask at the front desk, or give us a call on 01293 544 333.

See you in class

Chinese Lantern Day

We’ve got the Confucius Institute and their performing team from China coming to the Crawley Kung Fu School this Saturday Feb 19th   2.00 – 4.00pm

It’s to celebrate Lantern Day which is the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

They’ll be giving one of their beautiful performances involving Wu Shu, traditional Chinese dancing and hopefully a little weapons  as well if I can persuade them .

The children (and adults if they like) can then have a go at various routines…

They have also spoken about bringing craft material, so that the children can make lanterns to take away with them.

This is always a fun and easy going chance to try a couple of new activities, that you’d never usually even think of.

Have a quick look on our youtube channel at a previous demo Confucius Institute Performance at The Kung Fu Schools

It’s absolutely FREE….

We do all we can to bring  a variety of different opportunities for everyone at the Kung Fu Schools.

I look forward to seeing you here…

We had a bouncy castle, giant jenga, giant connect 4, space hopper races and face painting, it will be hard to beat next year but I’m sure we will come up with something.

I have started working on Halloween things, I can’t wait to decorate the Kung Fu Schools again, I just hope that baby will give me chance to whizz round and do it, he will have to have a day with daddy :-)

Thank you again for all the help and support from everyone.

From a Kung Fu Student at The Kung Fu Schools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To give everyone a little more insight into what happens at The Kung Fu Schools I have asked the students to write for me what effect coming to the Kung Fu Classes has had on them.

This is what Scott from the Juniors class had to say –

Kung Fu has taught me self-defence. It has helped me kick better in football. It has made me more confident.

I wanted to join Kung Fu Schools because I watched some lessons and they looked fun and helpful.

The instructors are friendly and kind. They help you all the time especially when you find something difficult. They make the lessons fun and teach us new things.
